Housing Accomodations
Student housing varies by school, U.S. state and general location. Most students are housed with American host families. In Southeast Michigan, Weiming operates a live-in Learning Center which includes dormitory style housing for students of certain schools. Several schools in various states have their own dormitories where international students may live during the school year as well.
Weiming Michigan Learning Center
The Weiming Michigan Learning Center (WMLC) is located in Troy, Michigan, and provides supervised housing, meal service, and on-site bilingual academic services to our students who attend eligible schools in the surrounding area. WMLC students enjoy access to a larger selection of tutoring options and a wide variety of recreational and cultural Weiming America activities and events!
American Homestay
Weiming America has a network of fantastic American host families who take our students in and care for them like their own children. Staying with a host family offers the deepest connection to local culture, English language and opportunity for growth as global citizens.
School Dorms
Some of our partner schools in various states have school dorms as an option for international student living. Students who opt to stay in a school dorm enjoy easy access to school facilities, after-school teacher support, meal service, and they live with other international and domestic students who attend the same or similar classes.
